Webinar Overview
The Enneagram in Nature: A Tool for Self-Awareness and Healing
We are excited to offer a collaborative virtual workshop this September, co-facilitated by Dr. Heidi Schreiber-Pan, Executive Director of the Center for Nature-Informed Therapy (CNIT), and Ben Campbell, founder of Wild Enneagram. This workshop is designed for mental health professionals and other practitioners in the health and healing professions who seek to integrate evidence-based insights from the Enneagram and nature-informed practices into their work. Counselors and Social Workers will earn continuing education credits (CEs) for their participation.
This workshop bridges psychological frameworks with holistic therapeutic practices, combining the Enneagram, an evidence-supported system for understanding personality structure, with nature-based therapeutic techniques, which are increasingly recognized for their role in enhancing emotional regulation, reducing anxiety, and promoting personal growth.
The Enneagram provides a scientifically informed roadmap to understanding core behavioral and motivational patterns. Its application can deepen practitioners’ insight into client behaviors, defense mechanisms, and growth opportunities. Recent studies, including research presented in Dr. Daniel Siegel’s Personality and Wholeness in Therapy, highlight the Enneagram’s clinical utility and its relevance in supporting clients across a variety of challenges.
Nature-based therapeutic approaches, as used in CNIT’s clinical model, tap into the restorative power of the natural world to promote psychological well-being and healing. These interventions, supported by research, have been shown to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma, while fostering resilience, emotional regulation, and self-awareness.
