About the Role:

The Center for Nature Informed Therapy (CNIT) Administrative Coordinator provides primary administrative support for CNIT’s programs and activities, including marketing efforts via social media, paper advertising, and other tools. This role serves as the main point of contact for CNIT programs and initiatives, handling logistics and communications.


Key Responsibilities:


Main Point of Contact for CNIT Program Participants:


  • Respond to inquiries through the CNIT website via email or phone consultations.

  • Address and resolve trainee issues (e.g., billing, assignment uploads, missed meetings).


Support for Foundational Nature Informed Therapy (NIT) In-Person Trainings and Online Mentorship Programs:


  • Communicate with participants, including sending welcome letters and registration forms.

  • Maintain participant information spreadsheets.

  • Prepare and distribute Google folders for training participants.

  • Facilitate communication with training volunteers.

  • Prepare the NIT Training Portfolio for publishing.

  • Manage training materials and logistics, including badges, printouts, merchandise, lodging, and transportation.

  • Record and distribute evaluations.

  • Send certifications and digital badges post-training.


Support for 3-Month Online Mentorship:


  • Update booking pages for individual consultants.

  • Review participant folders for graduation requirements and send reminders.


Logistics for Advanced NIT Courses:


  • Schedule, enroll, and register attendees.

  • Set up virtual classrooms and provide technical assistance.

  • Prepare training materials for in-person courses and assist facilitators.

  • Serve as a point of contact for all stakeholders.

  • Send certifications and digital badges post-training.


Event Management for Advanced NIT Courses and Professional Development:


  • Maintain shared Google calendars for all CNIT events.

  • Create and update event pages on the website.

  • Design and publish flyers, email campaigns, and newsletters.

  • Maintain records of certifications and completions for students and instructors.

Marketing Initiatives:


  • Manage the monthly CNIT newsletter and social media pages with volunteer assistance.

  • Pursue marketing opportunities.


Team Engagement:


  • Serve as a liaison between CNIT and past graduates.

  • Attend CNIT Leadership meetings.

  • Manage recertification and active status of Nature Informed Therapists, including creating guidelines and tracking status.

Requirements:

  • Certification or training in NIT, or willingness to complete the NIT program.

  • Strong interest in the connection between nature exposure and mental health.

  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and delegation skills.

  • Proficiency in email, Excel, Canva, PowerPoint, Zoom, and online learning platforms.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

  • Self-starter and quick learner.

  • Team-oriented work style.

  • Availability to attend in-person Foundational NIT training sessions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Independent Contractor (IC) position compensated per hour of work.

  • Flexible hybrid work schedule; work in-office, from home, or a combination.

  • Pay: $20/hour for 15 hours/week, with the potential to transition to W2 employee at 20 hours/week after a 4-month provisional period.
